When the cloud is no longer a project, but the operation itself
The organizations that come to us no longer ask whether to move to the cloud. They ask how to do it without putting operations, budget or compliance at risk.
-
The cloud bill grows faster than the business
Oversized resources, environments nobody turns off and data transfer charges nobody saw coming. We measure actual usage and align it with what the operation needs.
-
A migration that cannot stop operations
Legacy systems, critical databases and short maintenance windows. We plan in stages, with testing and a rollback plan at every step.
-
An architecture that grew without a plan
Accounts, networks and permissions added project by project. We put the foundation in order —identity, network, security and governance— before growing further.
-
Compliance and personal data requirements
Traceability, continuity and personal data protection with controls aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701, plus whatever your industry requires. We solve it in the design, not at the end.
Cloud consulting that goes all the way to production
Each workstream is activated as you need it, and the same team delivers all of them.
-
Assessment and target architecture
Current state, risks and a target architecture with a roadmap and documented decisions.
-
Migration and modernization
Applications, databases and infrastructure moved to the cloud in stages, with low impact on operations.
-
Multicloud and interconnection
Workloads spread across clouds when that brings continuity, savings or compliance, connected over dedicated links.
-
Oracle Cloud (OCI), our specialty
The cloud our own platforms run on: managed Kubernetes, Autonomous Database and native security.
-
Cost optimization
Spending visible by area and by service, right-sized resources and usage commitments that actually get used.
-
DevOps and automation
Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines and security built into every deployment.
-
Managed operations (CloudOps)
We run your cloud in three tiers —Essential, Professional and Strategic— on your own account.
Three phases, the same team from start to finish
The three phases of our forward deployed engineering, applied to your cloud. The scope of each is defined with you.
- Phase 1
Discover and design
We review your operation, costs and risks, and agree on a target architecture with priorities, an estimated cost and how the result will be measured.
- Phase 2
Build and deliver
We set up the foundation —identity, network and security— and migrate in stages, validating each one against the real operation before moving on to the next.
- Phase 3
Operate and hand over
We document and hand over the knowledge so your team can run the cloud on its own, or we run it for you as a managed service.
Consulting that does not end with a document
We are a Colombian forward deployed engineering firm: the engineers who design your cloud embed with your team and are accountable for it working in production. We choose the technology for your operation, not because of an agreement with a vendor.
What people usually ask us
What does cloud consulting with CTH include?
Assessment, target architecture, migration, cost optimization and, if you want it, managed operations. What sets it apart is that the same team that designs the solution builds it and leaves it running: the engagement does not end with a document.
Which clouds do you work with?
Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Our specialty is OCI, where our own platforms run, but we recommend the cloud that best serves each workload based on cost, available services, data residency and your team's ability to run it, and we combine more than one when it is justified.
Can my data stay in Colombia?
It depends on the cloud and the service. Oracle Cloud has a region in Bogotá; on the other clouds we assess the available regions and services against what your industry and your contracts require. Data residency is decided in the design, not after the migration.
Can you migrate without stopping operations?
That is what the planning is for: we migrate in stages, replicate data while operations continue, and every step has a rollback plan. When a workload needs a maintenance window, it is agreed and rehearsed beforehand.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the scope, the size of the operation and whether you want us to run it afterwards. The initial assessment defines the scope, the cost and how the result will be measured, so you can decide with numbers.
What happens when the project ends?
We document and transfer the knowledge so your team can run the cloud on its own. If you prefer to delegate it, we offer managed operations in three tiers on your own cloud account.
